Inspired by the club sound of Berlin Jackson Herbert got totally loose from musical forces and together with moodorama they created this outstanding EP: “Steroid” - a low riding track and “Bazooka circus” - a tribute to house music.
This EP shows that he is able to cope with all influences like reggae, hip hop, blues, jazz, funk & soul. His favorite drummachines and synths are the electribes series from Korg, elektron machinedrum / monomachine and Akai Mpc.
If you ask him how he got to making music you just get the simple answer: “From partying it up”!
The love of celebrating always makes him get out of the deepest Bavaria to travel to Berlin. Especially to clubs like the Watergate, the Tresor, the Club der Visionäre, the Sternradio and so on.
It was totally normal for him to listen first and then make something good out of what he heard. He worked while smoking all night and finally all those music ideas appeared.
He said he had never learned to play any instruments and that’s why the computer is his tool of expression. Sounds that go through your stomach first and then you can feel them in your legs.
Jackson Herbert convinces without being crazy or being cuckoo. Words are rather smoke and mirrors. Don’t expect anything, then you’ll get everything. And this is only a fortaste of a real kick-ass album.

Die Liebe zum Feiern treibt ihn immer wieder aus dem tiefsten Bayern
nach Berlin. Der dortige zeitgemäße Club-Sound inspirierte ihn gemeinsam mit moodorama völlig losgelöst von musikalischen Zwängen zu dieser herausragend produzierten EP: „Steroid“ und "Bazooka circus".
Diese EP offenbart eine wahre Kunstfertigkeit all die verschiedenen Einflüsse wie Reggae, Hip Hop, Blues, Jazz, Funk & Soul in modernen urbanen Großstadtsound umzuwandeln und zwar mit seinen elektronischen Lieblingsspielzeugen (u.a. Korg, elektron machinedrum, monomachine unnd Akai Mpc).
Wenn man ihn fragt, wie er zum Musik machen gekommen ist meint er nur:
„Vom gescheid Feiern gehen!“, v.a. in Berlin z.B. im Watergate, Tresor,
Club der Visionäre, Sternradio.
Instrumente hat er nicht gelernt, daher ist der Computer sein Ausdrucksmittel. Sounds, die zunächst in den Bauch und dann in Beine gehen. Völlig normal war der Übergang vom Hören zum Machen, die ganze Nacht rauchend, tauchen Ideen auf wie Nachtschattengewächse.
Jackson Herbert überzeugt ohne überkandidelt zu sein. Worte sind eher
Schall und Rauch. Erwartet nichts und hier bekommt ihr wirklich alles.
